AVSA Scholarship Guidelines
Due by March 01, 2012
Eligibility
Students are eligible for the AVSA college scholarship if:

They are enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program or a graduate program in ornamental horticulture, floriculture or an equivalent program.

They have completed at least 24 semester or quarter hour credits by the end of the fall, 2011 semester, with a minimum of a "B" average.
Award
The award is $1,000.00 which is divided between fall, 2011 and spring, 2012 semesters and may be used for tuition, books or fees. It is a one-time award with opportunity to reapply in subsequent semesters.
Terms
A maximum of two recipients each year.
Funding
Scholarships are funded by the Boyce-Edens research fund.
